Curatorial Statement

There are journeys that move the feet and there are those that move the soul. This one is an intentional unfolding of the latter.

Set against the heartbeat of the 1-54 African Art Fair in Marrakech, we invite a gathering of extraordinary women to step into a sacred interlude, one that ground us in story, attune us to resonance and recalibrates both creative impulse and global intent. Think of it as a pilgrimage: through dunes and souks, through quiet ritual and creative reckoning, all framed to weave the personal and the professional, our inner and outer worlds into one living tapestry.

This curated journey opens space for belonging, curiosity, and connection, celebrating artists, dreamers and cultivators of ideas and legacy.

FOUNDER | INGRID ASONI

Rooted in Purpose, Moving in Practice

Consciously Connected Travel and Asoni Haus are twin vessels of cultural supplication and narrative architecture. We design with soul, steward with strategy and convene with care.

  • Asoni Haus curates impactful experiences, consults founders, organisations, institutions and crafts systems where story becomes structure and heritage becomes the blueprint for tomorrow’s creative ecosystems. Through cultural strategy across fashion, hospitality, art, and global dialogue, we build spaces for meaning that endure.

  • Consciously Connected Travel offers journeys that tether place, intention and learning. We don’t just take you somewhere, we together step into living story. As experts in Morocco’s layered culture, we are guided by ancestral intelligence and design sensorial pathways that reframe tourism into cultural immersion.

Together, we invite women whose voices shape the creative economy, those who search for artistic communion, deep belonging and catalytic community. This journey is designed to be transformative, connective and generative, planting seeds of insight and creative solidarity in a world hungry for them.

The Tapestry of Our Days

9 Nights / 10 Days (3–12 February 2026)

An intentional arc from stillness to intensity, from desert horizon to Medina mosaic, from introspection to collective emergence.

Phase One: Grounding in the Agafay Desert (3–5 February)

Two nights at the serene Alkamar Camp, nestled one hour from Marrakech among the ochre dunes and nomadic whispers. The Agafay is desert grounded yet soul-stirring, opening the body to presence and the heart to beginning. Here, guest experiences will begin with guided breathwork at sunrise, stirred by Saharan music and the memory of ancestral caravan trails.

Phase Two: The Pulse of the Medina (5–8 February)

We will move into a Riad woven into the bustling arteries of the Marrakech Medina, the city’s beating heart during 1-54. This is where the world convenes, narratives intersect and possibility opens in arcaded alleys, wood-carved doors, and lantern-lit courtyards. Here, you will meander through fair events, attend salons and forge creative collaborations amid spices, colour and story.

Phase Three: Salon Diaspora & Creative Residence (8–11 February)

Three nights in a private villa sanctuary during Salon Diaspora. Think of this phase as the inward spiral, where conversation, ritual hand restorative rest deepen. This is where you will exchange your experiences with those building in diaspora, alongside visiting artists and elder voices, shaping conversation and global culture.

Notable Moments: Creative Beacons

These are the luminescent intervals, spaces illumined by extraordinary voices who have shaped the Biopic creative economy.

Further Creative Beacons (to be confirmed) will join in shorter salon-style moments, women whose work has defied frames, built archive and seeded new trajectories in contemporary culture.

Tosin Adeosun

An artist whose poetic practice blends tradition, reclamation and myth into modern visual codes. Her presence will be the gentle gravity that anchors our creative dialogues, whether over ceremony, conversation, or drawn line.

  • You are seeking more than a journey — you are seeking an immersion that nourishes the soul and sharpens the mind, where culture is not merely witnessed but felt in the marrow. You yearn for spaces where creative expression is met with kinship, where the exchange is not transactional but transformative. Within the global BIOPIC creative sphere, brilliance abounds yet often drifts untethered; here, we gather the fragments into a living tapestry of belonging, vision, and possibility. In Marrakech, during the pulsating days of 1-54, we stand at the meeting point of heritage and horizon, where art becomes a bridge and dialogue becomes an act of creation. This is an invitation to be wholly seen, deeply mirrored, and powerfully held among women whose presence calls forth your most expansive unfolding.
