Wine Indulgence

Visit the famous wine growing region of India in a day trip to Nashik by tasting their wines at different wineries. Understand the terrain and grape varietals that brought India on the world's map on wine making. (Lunch and evening snacks included along with 4 winery visits and their entry fees) £300 GBP. per person.

Despite harsh conditions for grapes to grow, these seeds miraculously find their way to the surface and surprisingly bear the fruit to make delicious and unique wines. For Harish Acharekar, his commitment to seeing the growth of the wine business is no different than the trying journey these seeds must face.

Every day Harish travels over 3 hours to get to The Table, rated India’s 3rd best restaurant where he works as the only Certified Sommelier. His impressive and vast knowledge of wine and spirits has catapulted his career to creatively crafting unique deconstructed experiences at the restaurant as well as educating customers on wine, spirits and pairings.

Not only has Harish shown off his sommelier skills with The Table, he has traveled across India to various colleges to instruct Master Class on becoming a Sommelier and Bartender, while educating young wine and spirit dreamers about the business.

We believe the best way to unlock a destination is through local immersion, and for this experience we’re immersing in all things vino! We have been working closely with Harish to bring the CCT traveller a day full of indulging and celebrating our beloved grape.
